Gamescon is a event hosted my my university, University of Ontario Institutes of Technology. It will be featuring all the games made by the UOIT Game Dev Program throughout the semester to the public, giving the public a chance to vote on their favorite games. Come and check out the game i'll be showcasing, 2 Guys 1 Knife! *Update: WE WON BEST FIRST YEAR GAME!!!
EGLX

EGLX is Toronto's premier event for gaming. Its hosts many local game development studios, including many student studios as well as a vibrant cosplay community and competitive gaming scene. I only attended the Sunday of the 3-day event due to a school exam.
UOIT Open House

This is the open house event for my university. It allows the public, especially High school hopefuls to see the campus and interact with some of the students. I will be showcasing the demo of my school project, a game codenamed "Axethrower". If you decide to visit, come visit me in the Game Dev Lab, and check out my game!

This party at the meltdown celebrates the console launch of Reception games' kickstarter success, Fossil Hunters. Its a great chance to meet the devs behind the game, and a chance to win one of 10 free copies of the game.

GBC Global Game Jam

The Global Game jam is a massive Game jam that is held annually. Many local game developers come together for 48 hours to make the best game they can, within that time period. It sports hundreds of locations all across the world, including one in particular in George Brown College. The event in this location is hosted by IGDA GBC, and is frequently one of the biggest Jam locations in Canada.
